Back in 2010, my friend Jeff Pulver launched the 140 Characters Conference. Unlike a lot of social media themed conferences of the day, 140 Characters strayed into personal talks, similar in many ways to the TEDx conference series. I was chosen to give a brief talk, and Jeff graciously brought me back several more times for #140conf events in New York, Washington DC and Los Angeles. Every time I went, I felt like I was reconnecting with friends (his “characters”), versus typical events where I’d go, meet a few people, give my talk and then return home.

A couple of months ago, Jeff announced that 140 Characters was back, this time in Los Angeles. And once again, I was chosen as a speaker for this awesome event. My talk this time will be on that boogieman of Digital Disruption, in which I’ll do an abridged version of the talk I gave in Berlin at eBev Europe.

If you’re in the LA area on November 14, join us at this remarkable event series. [REGISTER]
